February 11, 2020 The Corona Plague

P.S. This has been really painful to write this post today.

Did you remember learning about the Black Plague in your history classes? Did you remember the SARS, the Swine Flu Outbreak, and Ebola?

If you remember hearing those epidemics, you probably never heard of this contagious disease known as the Coronavirus.

No I'm not talking about the virus that comes from Drinking Corona beer from Mexico (lol who gets a virus from drinking a bottle of Corona beer). I'm talking about a new epidemic that has been spreading within China and to other countries around the world.

According to Coronavirus (also known as COVID-19) has recently killed around 1,000 people in China (including doctors trying to cure and quarate them with that disease), infected thousands and thousands of people in China.

The disease also infected a couple of countries around the world, most possibly via Plane and Cruise Ships including the United States where 13 people as of today has already been affected by this epidemic according to the CDC* and the New York Times**.

This disease started in Wuhan and quickly spread to thousands of people in China. As a result, several countries took action to protect people from this epidemic, such as enforcing people to stay in their homes in China, banning all travel to/from China in the United States as well as screening and quarnating people from anyone coming from overseas (mainly east Asia in cruise ships)^.

Right now, I am praying that these people that are infected with this deadly disease are treated and go back to their normal lives. Honestly, it really has to be tough living with this horrid virus, especially during the flu season. More recently, China just recently started testing their drug on their patients but, it is unknown if the drug is treatable. I guess only time will tell.

P.S. The Fung show is still a work in progress. Comment if you have any ideas you want to contribute.
