#1: A Introduction in Brief

Hey guys and welcome to the first official Fung News post. Before I start writing down my thoughts, I want to introduce myself. My name is Alan Fung, I am currently 23 years old from Billerica, Massachusetts, about 25 miles northwest of Boston. Currently, I am doing a lot of job hunting and every day is a learning day for me. I created this blog, solely for the purpose of expressing my views and thoughts on the things around me and what's been important with the news happening around the world.

I have graduated from University of Massachusetts Lowell with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts with concentrations in Legal Studies and Writing. I also have a couple years of customer service/hospitality experience ranging from helping customers in the dining room, in retail store, even going through neighborhoods within the Boston Area selling something.

My current goals right now would be able to manage money, become a news journalist/create my own Multi-media company, get into a Law Firm, go to Grad School and become a lawyer. As of right now, I am kinda dancing in circles in where career in want to get into, because of the fact I am a gifted person in certain fields, such as being a people person, expressing our opinions about the news, becoming a good writer,

The last couple of years with my family has been difficult based on our family backgrounds in which we all had mental problems. When I was a young kid, I usually would get into trouble in school because of my bad behavior. I eventually find out that came from my family genes as we all tend to not get along sometimes and always begging for things that we really wanted. Myself and my mother would always argue about doing homework at home for no reason, and my dad would sometimes act like a man-child. For those people who don't know what a manchild really is, if you remember watching Bella Gianna's episode of Gordon Ramsay's 24 hours to hell and back, you would know by now.

But every day as I continue to get older, I learn more about myself every day, and the one thing that I learned from myself and my troubled parents is the fact that we have to know and take care of ourselves first before others. I don't always get the things I wanted in life, but the most important thing I learned going through it was to always fight through obstacles, not in a aggressive manner, but through being determined to get to our goals and it's always hard. However, the hardest part is how much effort people would put in and while some people don't put effort in (really) like putting in 50-60% effort at their job (including horrible management at past workplaces), the real winners are the ones who are determined to hit goals, get the job done, and impress the people around you that work hard as well.

For example, I quit a door-to-door job because of a manager who refused to act like one, do I give up looking for a job? Never. I always look for one until, I get the right job. I been hunting for about 2 weeks, and at this point I am determined to have a new source of income for myself, and eventually be able to help the family in dire needs.

Simply put, it's very important we always work and show that we work really hard everyday in order to fulfill our job goals for the day and our future goals in the near future.

P.S. One thing I should never say in job interviews from this day forward would be to talk about my past employer. I'll explain it more later this week.
